Write your teaching philosophy (~ 2 pages) and post it in “Journal.” Here is a list of things you could talk about in your teaching philosophy:
- How you see yourself as a (Chinese) language teacher
- What inspired you to become a (Chinese) language teacher
- How you view language teaching
- Your teaching methods
- What your classroom teaching looks like
- How have students react to your teaching
- What you specialize as a (Chinese) language teacher
You do not need to include all of them and you should also not limit yourself to these items. This is just a guideline. Teaching philosophy differs from person to person, what one chooses to highlight in their statement also differs from person to person.
